New to Fancycrave? Allow Us to Explain How Everything Works

What is Fancycrave?

Igor Ovsyannykov started Fancycrave 4 years ago, completely from scratch. It all started in February 2015 when he decided to start giving away 2 free photos from his travels around Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Nepal, India, Laos, and Japan. The goal was to help fellow designers, small businesses, students, bloggers, and online marketers who want to convey their message in style.

Things escalated quite a bit from there and Fancycrave grew in popularity. Today you can find our photos being used by Fortune 500 companies for social media, email newsletters, mockups, blog graphics, etc.

Who is Behind Fancycrave?

Hi, my name is Igor Ovsyannykov. I’m the founder of Fancycrave. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read these words.

I love discovering new locations and taking photos. I’m here to help you visualize your world and bring your ideas for life. For my photos I use a Sony A7RII + lenses; Canon 85mm f/1.8, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8, and my handy tripod for long exposure shots. I edit the photos in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. Fancycrave is not concerned with quantity. Our focus is on providing photos that ooze class and make you proud to use them for your projects.

What Makes Us Different?

We take things to the next level. We send our photographers to different countries around the globe to take photos just for you. Imagine, you’re getting authentic, non stock, photos from countries like Japan, Singapore, Nepal, India, Thailand, Spain, Cambodia, and more while you sit in the comfort of your home or office.

Here is our 5 step process:

  1. Our photographers travel to unique and remote destinations.
  2. They take beautiful photos just for you.
  3. They edit each photo by hand using Adobe Lightroom.
  4. We package the photos and upload them to you.
  5. You download and use the photos for your personal or commercial projects.

How Do We Edit Our Photos?

We don’t just throw these photos inside Lightroom, run a preset, and export them. No we take things much more seriously than that.

We edit every single photos by hand. Each photo takes about 5-10 minutes. Sometimes the photo is underexposed, sometimes it’s overexposed, sometimes the white balance is off, sometimes the colors need to be adjusted, sometimes the skin tones are not correct, we solve these problems each time we edit our photos. Here is video demonstrating how we edit every single photo.
